Developing with Amazon Cloud Storage

In spring of 2006, Amazon ushered in the age of cloud storage with its Simple Storage Service (S3). Since then Amazon has introduced a slew of other cloud storage services ranging from storage associated with Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) servers to storage that’s part of Amazon’s content distribution network (CloudFront). All told Amazon has six distinctive cloud storage solutions which are continually being enhanced.

In this hands-on course, students will learn about all cloud storage services offered by Amazon Web Services, how each one fits in the Amazon storage landscape, the different performance and pricing options, and how to use each storage service. Developers interested in learning about and using Amazon cloud storage should find the course both challenging and engaging. By the end of the course students will have enough hands-on experience with the Amazon cloud storage services to apply to their own projects.
